Busy times at Christmas.

Hello, to all out there at this very busy time of year.
I am getting there slowly with all that happens around Christmas. I feel much happier that the Christmas presents are completed and wrapped. The house as had a clean and polish and the decorations are out. Just the Christmas lights to be put up and they are ready to go. Haveing those things finalised seemes to have stopped the panic I was feeling. Hope all your preparations are comeing along nicely.
We have attended a few parties and had one here for our sewing group. Secret Santa came with lots of lovely surprises.

I  have sent my quilties away to  the Quiltie Trade . Snowmen being the theme for this month.

How cute are these owls, I just love them. Sharon has completed the top for her quilt last week . I can bet that this week it will be batted and quilted and the binding finished  by now.

Our sewing group Christmas party day was such fun and a very enjoyable day at my home.
Here I am enjoying myself in the bottom left hand corner.

These ladies make the most amazing quilts and are so talented.

Our Christmas in Australia coincides with the Summer holidays. We have lots of events for the Christmas Season. Most are outdoor concerts. Carols by Candlelight is my favourite outdoor concert held in the warm summer evenings.

Have a great week, maybe fit some sewing in there.
Stay Happy and Well.
Jen x

your snowmen are delightful, not sure how I have found your blog but thrilled to see your quilting. I am more an embroiderer that has moved into crazy patchwork etc and think i will be getting lots of inspiration form you quilters.
Here it is very very cold with black ice on the roads, lots of roads closed with accidents, bit different to your weather, I know I would rather have yours!

It would be hard to decide between summer and winter Christmas, but then - there is always a chance that we will have a white one :-)

Lovely post Jen, and gorgeous 'quilties'. Looks like your group had a fabulous day. I hope your Christmas is happy, not too hot, and you see your family and friends heaps. Thanks for the friendship we've made, and I look forward to seeing more about your life in 2013. Stay cool.
