From The Woman Cave.

Hello again!
I have seen this button on a blog and I thought how true.... "The Woman Cave"   aka  The Sewing Room. ( funny one.)
At the moment I am quilting my current projects and when they are finished I will be appliqueing a baby cot quilt, 39 inches -39 inches named  Wonkey Donkey.  from www.hotpossum.com . I haven't sewed a cot quilt for ages so thought it would be fun. I really want to get started but I am trying to be  strong and wait till I finish my other couple of projects as they are nearly done.

My sewing friends have been productive using their creativity with finishes of some lovely quilts.

There seems to be a theme for boys and their quilts last week.
Barbara has finished a cricket quilt for a dear boy in her life.

Val has finished for her grandson a cars and truck and roads single bed quilt.

You can see how little boys would love these quilts to snuggle in.
The fabrics are great for boys.

Sharon has made herself a block book with these wonderful ladies embroidered on the cover.
I wonder if she has named each one of them from our sewing class.

Helen's finished quilt has embroidered blocks and  some pretty embellishments over the quilt. Love the ladies on there.

I am takeing my knitting while travelling for the next 2 days while we go to Grandparent's day at  school for our granddaughter, she is 6yrs.  It is a 4hour drive one way and we are having a sleepover so should get a few rows done there and back.
On my sewing room craft cupboard I hang this sign to remind my loved one when I am in there, when he says while watching the television.  Are we going to have a cuppa!! Sometimes I say, make one for me while you're at it !!  He is thoroughly ruined I might add. haha

We get  a slight breeze rustleing the leaves on the trees but doesn't stay long and our days are still hot.
34C degrees expected tomorrow. I think everyone is sick of the heat and 3 weeks into Autumn  and no relief from the heat and humidity of Summer as yet.
Stay Happy and Well,
Jen x

Nice collection of finished items and perfect inspiration for getting my own done!
I love the sign - may I borrow it? - my husband's last day of work is Thursday! After he finishes the painting/cleaning/repair list I have for him he will be MY full time job too!

Some lovely finished work and I really love the sign. Believe me they don't have to be retired to need full time attention. Take care.
