Enjoying the Scenery.

Hello Everyone, wherever you are .
We have been experiencing some very cold weather here in Australia so we headed to the snow country and have been out and about in the cold walking in the snow and feeling the snow flakes  on my face enjoying a holiday in the snow fields in the Snowy Mountains of New South Wales.
Staying at Thredbo Village a Ski Resort. Thredbo is about 500kms south of Sydney in the Kosciuszko National Park. It has the longest ski runs in Australia.
The snow is falling on top of the mountain as I speak.
I have had a small break from blogging and enjoying time with our family and big  grandies staying in a chalet at the snow. The scenery is just beautiful. We are up high among the treetops and see to the top of the mountain watching people ski down the slopes.

Back into routine again now catching up on my projects.

Some quilts to share from class  and I want to showcase a Quilt finish by Vickie in a lovely muted tones and pretty selection of fabrics and beautifully  hand painted embroideries. Just gorgeous!!

Also Barbara has in progress a fun quilt to brighten any bedroom . I think this Mickey Mouse fabric is a classic and is fabulous !!

On my own design wall I have my blocks sorted and ready to pierce together and  couple of borders to cut.  I am not in a hurry just a relaxed attitude toward my craft . I am also hand sewing a small hexagon quilt that I am enjoying the progress.
Some snow photos of our holiday.

Travelling in the shuttle bus. The beautiful gum trees covered in snow.

Cold for the Kangaroos.
