Happy New Year Everybody.

Hello dear readers,
I would like to wish you all a great prosperous, healthy and extremely Happy New Year.

I have been slipping under the radar lately, not getting on here as often as I like but !!!
I do miss connecting with my blogger friends but I am hopeful to be on here more often as things have quietened down a bit so I should have more time to myself.
I am back to keeping my projects moving and keeping my sewing incorporated in my daily life. "mostly".
I did manage to finish a quilt I was doing for my 5year old  Grandaughter  to put under the tree with her Christmas presents.

The panel I used.
Some of the blocks.

All finished.

Back quilting.

It is a pretty quilt with the fairy fabric and Elsie (5years) loved it so that was the main thing. Elsie is  starting school in the new Year.

Elsie the youngest of my 8 Grandchildren.
Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and are happy and well.
It is New Years eve and I am about to watch the Fireworks at 12 o'clock and welcome in the New Year.

Treasures and Creations.

Hello All, Christmas greetings.
Christmas celebrations are in full swing with a few outings happening. The lead up to Christmas  is fun meeting up with friends that you don't see all the time. It is a lovely time of the year and impossible not to be absorbed in the Christmas feeling.
My  Tuesday quilting group have come  together  with the other day's quilting ladies for the end of year Christmas Party and holiday break till New Year. I think there was around 60 ladies there.
Everyone enjoyed the 'show and tell' of their quilt journey this year with some good stories about the quilts on show.
 I have some to share.

The story on this quilt with all the fussy cutting and measuring was that it was  really hard to piece together.
The word nightmare was mentioned !!  Love the little bird and his beak singing a song.

Enjoying the quilt show.

Love this Christmas runner .The beautiful  embelishments don't all show in the photo . The baubles in the border are all needle turned and it was a couple of years to get finished amongst other projects.

Must be talking about future projects. We all had a most enjoyable day and lovely Secret Santa gifts were handed around.

It was a inspiring display of quilts ,there is more I will show next time.
Also I will have my granddaughter's quilt finished for Christmas as I am hand sewing the binding now and will post next time.
Hope you all had a great week and are happy and well.
Jen xx
