Happy Quilting.

Hello Everybody ,
Lovely Autumn weather is here ,so glad all the terrible heat wave conditions have gone.
Looking forward to Easter next week .Many Australians take advantage of this holiday period to celebrate the day Jesus rose from the dead and the chance of enjoying a range of events and of course the Easter Bunny comes to families and little children.
Still having lots of computer problems exporting to my blog . I think it is time for a new Computer as it is getting old and some of the services that I  import with won't update anymore and I think this is the problem .My big grandchildren and son in-law  have been trying to sort it for me and  tell me I need to buy a new one . I try to get a post up for hours sometimes and it doesn't happen. So annoying!! I am going to get a new computer .

My sewing group are very passionate  about their quilting keeping each other enthusiastic and motivated .When I can put more up I will showcase them. They are lovely.
A couple of quilts I managed to get on here .
Val finished the top of this lovely panel and  is now ready to quilt.

Lee has sewed this quilt ready to give to charity as soon as it is quilted.

This is one of my baby quilts that I send to the hospitals.
I purchased these Westalee Rulers to use for some free motion quilting  on my Janome
I have 3 quilts waiting to be quilted. I have to check out the You Tube Tutorial . Yikes !!

I couldn't resist this photo of my Great Grandaughter Ella Jewel. She is so gorgeous ,

The kangaroos come close to the road looking for the grass because of the drought.
I hope this post finds you all happy and well. I truly miss not being able to get on here connecting with my blogging friends. Thank you for calling in .

More Balanced.

Hello Everybody,
Hoping this post finds you happy and well.
Hopefully my computer problems have gone now so I can post and import my photos ,I did have trouble the last couple of weeks again but hope I have it sorted now.
I have had a good couple of weeks in the sewing room being dedicated to catch up on some UFO's and have some near finishes to report .Also I started a new project in amongst it all as I can't help myself  haha.
I am feeling more balanced in creating more time for myself and family, to be well rested getting to bed at a reasonable hour to arise early and make full use of my day.
It is now 2 years coming March that my dearly loved husband passed on and I feel less stressed and in some sort of order, so life goes on. Life is not fair but it is still good.

What would I do without my dear friends in my sewing group together each week for 16 years now.
There is always new things happening.

Some lovely projects from my class group.

This pattern is from our sewing group teacher Lee  .I love all the applique and beautiful hand work.
Little butterflies flying across the quilt.

                   So pretty !!

                                Lee 's quilts.

This is my quilt waiting to be quilted ,I'm not sure exactly how yet .It has to be finished by end of March for my sister's birthday.

  My latest baby quilt.

With the drought in Australia there has been dust storms from the red dirt in the  paddocks .Top soil from farms picking up and blowing across Australia. This one is blowing across Sydney from the middle of Australia. They travel hundreds of Kilometres, (miles) They damage houses and the dust gets inside.

Heat wave conditions, Fire , Cyclones , Heavy rain and flooded rivers. happening the same week in all the different states. bad week.

Love the sea .I love the water scenes as they are so tranquil and relaxing to view letting your cares float away.

Life is better at the beach a day at the beach restores the soul.

 My beaches .

Thank you for calling into my blog and saying hello when you can.
Happy sewing week .

Hello Everyone,
I am happy as long as there is a new project on the horizon .I do have some new projects lined up but I also have a line up of  too many UFO"S . I have been determined to finish them and have been working on them so have some near finishes . I have been doing bindings ,raw edge applique and sashiko embroidery and quilting. .I find hand sewn bindings quite relaxing.
With everyone showcasing their works on here it is very motivating. The enthusiasm is catching.

This is getting sandwiched tomorrow and a binding .It is a bed runner for the bed.

I did have a helper sort out the block placement .

Not much help as Chloe wanted to play.

Tonight I will have completed the binding on one  ufo quilt with my little helper sitting next to me watching television.,so slowly getting them done.
Stay happy and well .
Seek the joy in everyday.
